Job Description

A dynamic and highly respected law firm in Walsall, known for our expertise in family law are seeking an additonal member of the team! A dedicated team of solicitors is committed to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. They pride themselves on punching above their weight and achieving outstanding results. With continued growth, they are looking for a talented and ambitiousFamily Solicitor to join our team.Position Summary:A talented and committed Family Solicitor with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to play a key role in our firm. The successful candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of both privately and publicly funded divorce andmatrimonial finance cases. The ability to work with minimal supervision is crucial for this role, as you will be responsible for managing your own workloads.Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload covering divorce, financial remedy, co-habitation, and pre-nuptial agreements, private law children matters, and injunction files.
  • Conduct full case management, including handling your own advocacy in court proceedings.
  • Assist, when required, with public children advocacy, with training provided as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively within our team, demonstrating strong communication skills and a willingness to network and develop professionally.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years PQE as a Family Solicitor.
  • Proficiency in handling privately and publicly funded divorce and matrimonial finance cases.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage your caseload independently.
  • Experience in conducting advocacy is essential.
  • Willingness to assist with public children advocacy (training will be provided).
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional growth.
