Employability TrainerSalary£29,000-32,000 per annumSPECIAL REQUIREMENT Enhance DBS DisclosureHours37 hours per weekWe have a fantastic opportunity for an Employability Trainer to join our team on Restart Programme. This role involves working with our team and supporting with sourcing the vacancy opportunities that could be suitable for our participants.As an ideal applicant, you will have experience of working with individuals who face multiple barriers to employment, alongside experience of liaising with employers to source vacancies and connecting with agencies to provide individuals with specialist support.In addition to this, an experience of having worked within a Recruitment Consultant role would be advantageous.1.Deliver accredited and non-accredited training on employability, including interview skills, CV sessions, Information technology and motivational sessions, life skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.2. To manage a caseload of participants, ensuring they are supported and challenged appropriately to move towards lasting and meaningful employment. Following a diagnostic assessment, work through a comprehensive action plan with the participant to give themadditional skills, identify transferrable skills and capabilities and building their confidence to return to sustainable employment.3. To support our participants a long their journey, addressing any barriers to entry to sustained employment. Working closely with the Job Coaches and Employer Engagement team to devise delivery schedules and action plans with the end goal of the participantsstarting sustained employment. Employability Trainer to lead on delivery, and provide weekly feedback to the Job Coaches, and wider team.4. To motivate jobseekers and learners, to ensure attendance of the programme and to ensure that jobseekers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to move into sustainable employment.5. To build effective and positive relationships with participants, working collaboratively, motivating and challenging them to identify and overcome any potential barriers preventing them from returning to work.6. Follow up calls with employers, receiving feedback for interviews attended, and address any participant training needs in follow up sessions (one to one or groups).7. To meet targets with regards to learners gaining qualifications and to work closely with awarding bodies to ensure training is compliant with accreditation requirements.8. To ensure all contractual paperwork is completed to the highest standards and learner records are maintained with due consideration to data protection legislation.9. To plan and prepare lessons, teaching materials and curriculum content to ensure it continues to meet the diverse needs of the target group e.g., specific learning styles and needs.10.
