Job Description

Design & Marketing Co-ordinatorFull Time role (35 hours per week)Salary negotiable depending on experience - up to £30k paLocation - Bloxwich/Walsall WS2Ancol Pet Products Ltd was founded in 1971 by Ann and Colin Lane and remains a family run business, now with the second generation at the helm. A brand new, exciting position due to extensive business growth - this fast-paced role is key within the department.This role will suit someone who is truly passionate about delivering results through the best presentation of Digital Assets, so we are looking for someone who has a high degree of attention to detail, a keen eye for design and presentation and the ability to work to tight deadlines.We are offering a great opportunity to grow within a modern, forward thinking business with an ambitious growth plan.Main PurposeThe Design & Marketing Co-ordinator is a multi-purpose role which encompasses the entire NPD process. This role supports the department in creation of branding, packaging and marketing materials, as well as maintenance of the website and backend system.Key Initial Objectives

  • Review current online assets and make recommendations for improvement
  • Organise and maintain a hierarchy of images for product assets and ensuring all assets are stored centrally and easily accessible internally and externally (Dropbox for customer access)
  • Update packaging & brandings designs
  • In Detail
  • Create, organise and ensure digital assets are current and up to date, at all times and easily accessible to be displayed on retailer’s websites and social media channels
  • Work closely with the team to optimise product content online in line with the Digital Marketing strategies
  • Brainstorm and mock-up design concepts that fit marketing projects and campaign needs
  • Ensure we have the right content online, on all channels
  • Product branding and packaging generation
  • Web updates
  • Creation of marketing materials
  • Catalogue updates
  • Idea generation
  • Write and proof-read marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
  • Updating internal database
  • Attend NPD meetings and present to stakeholders
  • Work with the Sales Manager on promotions and advertisements
  • Generate email campaigns (Mailchimp)
  • Person Specification / Demonstrable Behaviours required
  • Graphic Design / Marketing qualification desirable
  • Experienced in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detailed working knowledge of Social Media and Digital Marketing channels
  • Ability to generate concepts from brief individually and as a team.
  • Well organised, reliable, hard- working individual, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Be highly conscientious, professional and thorough; a confident and adaptable member of a team with good communication skills both written and oral.
  • Highly accurate with an eye for detail including eye for design and presentation
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of retail sector desirable
  • E-Commerce experience required/retail
