Business Development Manager - Roof Penetration & Weathering Solutions Job Title: Business Development Manager - Roof Penetration & Weathering SolutionsIndustry Sector: Roofing Penetration, Weathering Solutions, Roofing, Roof Hatches, Access Hatches, Roofing Repairs, Refurbishment, Main Contractors, Cladding Contractors, Facilities Management, End Users, Specification Sales, Architects, SpecifiersBased: WalsallRemuneration: £30,000 - £40,000Benefits: Company car + benefit packageThe role of the Business Development Manager - Roof Penetration & Weathering Solutions will involve:

  • Business Development Manager position focused on selling roof penetration & weathering solutions for products such as roof hatches, access hatches, upright vents, roof lights, window installations, roofing repairs
  • Will be required to implement your own sales strategy
  • The majority of your time will be spent selling / dealing with main contractors, cladding contractors, roofing contractors and end users, clients include; Mace, Heineken, Interserve, Kier, Portakabin etc.
  • The remaining portion of your time will be spent generating specification via architects, building envelope specifiers
  • Order value can range from £1,500 - £250k depending on size and scope
  • Initially a large portion of your time will be spent generating new business relationships, with the remaining time calling on existing relationships
  • You will be expected to conduct CPDs once up and running
  • Will be based from the office
    • The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager - Roof Penetration & Weathering Solutions with:
  • Must have experience selling to main contractors, cladding contractors, roofing contractors and end users, such as Mace, Heineken, Interserve, Kier, Portakabin, etc.
  • Must have extensive with a building envelope related product such as: roofing systems, rooflights, weathering systems, cladding, facades, architectural mouldings
  • Ideally have specification sales experience with architects and specifiers
  • Ideally have great presentation skills / CPD experience
  • Self motivated, you will have a strong desire to succeed in this role
  • New business hunter
  • Excellent territory planning capability
