Job Description

Job Title - Bench JoinerLocation - WalsallSalary - £10.00 - £14.00 / hourBench Joiner wanted to join a growing business based in Brownhills, West Midlands. The position will consist of a variety bespoke joinery tasks. Job role will include:

  • Works on own initiative
  • Can produce good quality doors, windows and furniture in a traditional way from start to finish.
  • Experience with working on very bespoke products and hardwood.
  • Working within a great team.
    • Successful candidate will:
  • Be over 21 and be very punctual
  • Must have Joinery / assembly experience
  • Must have a careful / thoughtful nature
  • Must be able to problem solve and not have a (that will do) attitude
  • Cabinet making background is a preference but not essential
  • Generally Someone that can turn their hand to most practical tasks and complete them to a high level
  • Have at least 10 years of experience as a bench joiner
  • Be proficient using traditional machinery
  • Full time position
  • Male or female
  • Basic steel fabrication experience and knowledge of CAD would be preferable but not necessary.
  • Must be relatively strong.
