Job Description

About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for you to join us at a period of significant growth and transformation within the Society.The Resource Planning team is responsible for the workforce management across our customer service teams, providing cost effective resource models that ensure financial as well as operational performance. We work closely with stakeholders across the businessand in particular helping customer service teams to optimise utilisation and availability for the customer service workforce.As a Resource Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Collating and maintaining data required for Resource Planning
  • Analyse historical supply and demand data using appropriate techniques and tools, giving appropriate consideration to seasonality, shrinkage and other known factors to produce a robust forecast.
  • Producing robust and effective views for the business to help review colleague activities, short to long-range resource forecasting, forecasting accuracy and scenario planning.
  • Acquiring and maintaining historical data of workload volumes and timings to maintain good quality forecasting
  • Maintaining the process to ensure we have up to date views of current resource volumes and skill levels across tasks and teams
  • Analysing variations in volumes and maintaining close links with those who can provide information on the causes of variation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, support with providing impact assessments in order for them to make key decisions.
  • Feeding back to the business any analysis that shows we can make positive improvements for our customers and colleagues.
The post-holder will be working with our operational management group in a supportive and collaborative environment. There will be opportunities to help shape the future of our resource planning process to help maximise the opportunities on offer throughoutour transformation programme.About YouIf you have a keen eye for detail, possess great communication skills and make every effort to drive the business forward and achieve results, then you would thrive within this role.We are looking for someone with experience of working within a customer-focussed environment across back office and front office and who has experience of working towards SLA or KPI targets. You will have the ability to produce and analyse data, identifykey trends and offer ideas for improvement.Using good Microsoft Office skills you will be particularly skilled with Microsoft Excel to help provide summarised views of data. You will be able to work under pressure and multi-task, whilst managing your scheduled workload effectively.If you have experience working with a workforce management system in particular NICE IEX, great, but the right candidate will receive full training in this role to ensure you are equipped to use our systems effectively and you will be supported to developyour skills throughout your career with us.About UsThe Resource Planning function works across many parts of our business and you will get to work with a wide variety of areas and colleagues on a daily basis.
