Join our clients Team as a Production Leader - Exciting Long-Term Opportunity We are thrilled to announce an exceptional career opportunity as a Production Leader for our client located in Wallsend. This role presents the prospect of a long-term commitment, with potential for permanent positions beyond 2025. The Production Leader is a dayshift role, 42 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday from 07:00hrs to 16:00hrs and Fridays from 07:00hrs to 15:30hrs. The salary is competitive, £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience and expertise. As a Production Leader, your primary responsibility is to efficiently oversee the Painting teams on the site. Youll play a vital role in meeting site requirements and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). In collaboration with the Site Manager, youwill contribute to the ongoing development of the sites culture and leadership focus. Key Responsibilities: - Manage painting team, ensuring customer requirements are met. - Supervise departmental production to meet the production plans requirements. - Ensure products adhere to established methods, technical specifications, and quality standards. - Maintain a safe working environment by addressing health and safety requirements in a timely manner. - Foster positive industrial relations within the team. - Develop and empower the team and individuals to enhance their performance by identifying and planning development needs. - Promote effective communication both internally and externally across all business levels. - Collaborate closely with the engineering department to organise and manage engineering and maintenance regimes, minimising downtime and optimising cost efficiency. - Lead, participate in, and support initiatives to enhance production efficiency, health and safety, and engineering, striving to meet or exceed site objectives. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification. - Previous experience in a Production Leader role.
