Our client is currently resourcing for a Procurement Assistant to work as part of their team in Wallsend on a Contract to Permanent basis starting asap! You will be on an attractive hourly rate, between £10 - £12 depending on experience.This will be a temp to perm role for the right candidate. This can be either Part time / Full time role - hours to be discussed (3 days / 4 days or 5 days per week.)As a Procurement Assistant.Job Duties will include:* Process requisitions through purchasing inbox* Email suppliers for quotations with requisitions* Raise purchase orders in Company ERP system* Match delivery notes with orders in Company ERP system* Manage and Up Rev Fuel Orders each month.* Check open orders / follow up on deliveries note from the suppliers.* Checking status / expiry dates of orders to raise revisions.Knowledge / Competences:* Cost control of large-scale projects regarding orders and the terms of delivery* Market Of supplies* Functioning of purchasing, internal purchasing procedures and administrative order processing* Understanding of computer systems and conversant with MS Office, ERP internet/IntranetIf you have experience within a supply chain / procurement enviroment and this sounds like a fantastic opportunity, please click APPLY now!This vacancy is being advertised by IRS Recruitment who are operating as an Employment Business.
