Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a Machine Operator for their client based in Wallsend working day shift only Monday - Friday with a pay rate £12.50 an hour.Are you passionate about precision engineering and skilled in sheet metal fabrication Were seeking a talented individual to join our client as a Machine Operator for our state-of-the-art sheet metal fabrication equipment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication machinery according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and minimise waste.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise work flow and meet production deadlines.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience operating sheet metal fabrication machinery or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls preferred.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common machine issues and performing routine maintenance.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
