Job Description

Are you eager to kickstart your career as a HR Data Entry Receptionist. IRS recruitment is excited to offer you a fantastic opportunity to join our client in the Wallsend area. This role is initially on a contract basis, with the potential for extensionor even a permanent position for the right candidate. As a HR Data Entry Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients company. To be successful in this role you should have excellent communication skills, be able to deal with queries in a timely and effective manner and be able to multi-task. Position Details: Hourly Rate: £12 per hour (experience-dependent) Working Hours: Full-time, 39.5 hours per week, with flexibility expected. Monday to Thursday: 8:00 - 17:00 & Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with an unpaid lunch break) Responsibilities Include: As a HR Data Entry Receptionist, your duties will encompass: - Inputting data into a time and attendance system. - Completing general administration tasks, including onboarding new candidates into the business. - Gaining proficiency in operating a time and attendance system. - Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office and direct visitors to the appropriate person and office. - Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. - Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures). - Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email. - Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries. - Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook. - Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock where required. - Update calendars and schedule meetings. - Perform any other receptionist duties that maybe required. Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess: - Excellent alpha and numeric data input. - Previous experience handling sensitive and confidential information. - A keen eye for detail, maintaining high standards. - The ability to work with minimal errors.
