Job Description

Job DescriptionZenith People are currently recruiting for a Recycling Plant based in the North EastWe require operators to work in the busy Pallion site, assisting and working as part of a busy team.Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring health and safety standards are always met
  • Sorting of recycled products prior to compacting
  • Comfortable with lifting and moving of products
  • Operation of machinery, and able to report any issues to the maintenance department
  • Carry out regular cleaning down of the machinery
  • Working heavily as part of a team and understanding their role as a team goal
  • Be accustomed to modern practices e.g. following a standard work procedure
Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are always met
  • Follow strict PPE guidelines
  • Lifting and moving of products throughout the shift
  • Understanding and following of SOPs
  • Working as part of a team, and understanding role within this team
  • Assist team members in achieving the daily target/goal
Pay & Benefits:
  • Basic salary £11.55 per hour
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and then additional long service holidays
