Job Description

About the RoleWorking as part of our Digital Marketing team and in close partnership with colleagues in our Marketing Communications team, this role will lead on the creation and management of digital content to support campaigns, brand awareness and commercial goals.You will play a key role in supporting and delivering the Societys digital content strategy across social channels, the website and digital marketing campaigns.You will focus on building strong relationships with colleagues across the business, including in our branch network, building advocacy amongst our stakeholders. You will support an engagement schedule with the business, setting up a content ambassador groupand translating output into engaging digital content.Youll be responsible for planning, developing, creating and publishing imaginative and inspiring digital content, you will have the opportunity to innovate and help reach a wide range of audience segments, helping to bring to life our purpose. You willmeasure and analyse content performance working closely with our Digital Optimisation Specialist to look for growth opportunities.As our Society continues to grow, you will be instrumental in raising brand awareness and improving digital customer experience across the North East and beyond.About YouYour background will be in Marketing and youll have a strong background in producing engaging written and rich digital content for business websites and social accounts.Your communication (both written and verbal) skills will be first class, with the ability to build impactful relationships with both stakeholders and target audiences alike.Youll have strong copywriting skills and solid experience of developing key messaging and narratives. Excellent digital and social media skills are a must. Youll have a passion for all things digital content and will enjoy finding new ways to engage audiences,measuring the impact of your actions.The ability to take an insight led approach ensuring decision making is principle led, evidence based and outcome driven is essential.This is set to be a busy role so experience of managing multiple projects of various sizes and with different deadlines will stand you in great stead!About UsOur people are at the heart of what we do, were really proud of our team, what we have achieved so far and the journey were about to embark upon.
