About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Change Risk Oversight Specialist to join our second line of defence risk function on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.This role will provide and maintain effective independent oversight of risk management across a key strategic transformation programme. Working in compliance with our Group Transformation Framework and our second line Change Risk Oversight Framework, thepost-holder will be responsible for providing effective assessment, challenge and reporting on the suitability of the risk management lifecycle throughout the programme.In practice this will involve providing representation to project meetings, effective liaison with subject matter experts across the risk function and timely and effective reporting to project steering and risk governance committees, ensuring any agreedactions to mitigate key risks are suitably tracked and addressed.Oversight will include (but not be limited to), programme design and implementation plans taking account of the identification, quantification and management of relevant risks through to key control testing, coverage of risk management through project governanceand business readiness for deployment. Key areas of risk focus are expected to be Information Security and GDPR compliance, Operational Risk Management, Third Party Supplier Risk Management and Operational Resilience (as appropriate) where there is any impactto our Important Business Services.About YouWe’re looking for someone who brings a good knowledge of change risk or change audit experience and is familiar with financial services regulation.An effective communicator who is able to build strong relationships with the project team and engage with the right subject matter colleagues within the Risk function at the right time.
