Researching, developing and delivering innovative +£1m polymer engineering solutions in a fast paced environment

Interpreting and designing from specifications and standards

Generating new product concepts with Autodesk Inventor

Validating concepts from first principles and FE Analysis

Managing and constructing product qualification programmes as required

Commercial management and planning of projects

Conducting scientific research, including patents and journal interpretations

Requirements-wise, my Engineering Client needs New Product Design & Development Engineers with the following experience:

Ability to deliver successful innovations

Experience in managing large to medium sized development projects (preferred)

Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Capable of writing engineering reports, calculations, drawings, FE Analysis etc

Degree Qualified in a field of Engineering or Physics (Mechanical / Structural Engineering preferred)

Analytical / 1st Principal experience preferred

Experience of CAE (CAD Design / FEA Analysis) packages such as AutoDesk Inventor, Ansys Structural preferred
