We are on the lookout for a super talented Management Accountant, based in Wigan!We need someone who is a qualified Accountant with demonstrable PQE, with a CIMA / ACCA qualification, and if you have experience working in the property market as well then you could be our winner! (but don’t worry about the property part, we can be flexible on this!)It’s not just about finding someone with impressive qualifications and experience though, it’s also really important to us to find someone who is great at working with a variety of different people, has a way with words that will make the rest of the accounts assistants feel comfortable and confident working under you, and you are someone who is more than happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in at the deep end! The Finance Director has plenty of exciting plans for you already! Like what you hear so far Read on…As the Management Accountant, your day could consist of:- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including;- Accruals and prepayments- Depreciation- Overhead recharges- Full balance sheet reconciliation- Annual budget preparation, including monthly re-forecast and liaising with external Accountants on preparation of year end accounts- Quarterly VAT return preparation- Project cost reconciliation, including budget comparisons- Working alongside Lettings team in preparing the monthly Landlord recharges- To assist the Finance Director with ad-hoc queries, supporting with training for the Accounts Assistants and optimising and improving the systems in place to create a more streamline process for the overall finance teamAs the Management Accountant, your skills need to consist of;- An Accountancy qualification, with demonstrable post qualified experience- CIMA / ACCA qualification is preferred- Proven experience working in the property industry would be ideal, but not compulsory- Experience working with systems such as SAGE 50 accounts would be extremely advantageous- Be a self-starter with a desire to work hard, interest in proposing and then driving change- A desire to grow and develop in a thriving businessThe company are an incredibly progressive property development company, with a mightily impressive portfolio of over £50million!
