Job Description

A growing family business that specialise in property development with a current personal portfolio of over £50m, is looking for a new Lettings Negotiator to be based at their head office in Wigan. This is an extremely exciting time to join the business, as it is fully expected that the team will continue to grow in line with the business expansion and subject to performance, there could be an opportunity for you to be promoted to Lettings Manager, and lead a brand new office of your own.As the Lettings Negotiator, your responsibilities will include:- Preparing marketing material and assisting in sales & marketing campaigns to drive new tenant appointments and proactively targeting new landlords- Supervising and conducting property viewings, property inspections and supervising evictions, where required- Processing tenant applications and proactively managing tenant arrears- Managing lettings staff diaries - arranging viewings, move-ins, move-outs, inspections- Maximising occupancy rates and rents at all properties- Managing rental voids to ensure that these are kept at a minimumTo be a successful Lettings Negotiator, you will have the following skills and experience:- Demonstrable experience working in the lettings/estate agency industry- A proven track record of business development, account management and new business sales- Previous experience in a managerial / supervisory / team leader capacity would be highly beneficial- Excellent time management skills- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic office- Keen eye for detail and a creative flare for marketingIn return, the Negotiator will receive a salary of between £20,000 and £24,000 per annum, plus excellent company benefits including 20 days annual leave plus an extra day per year of service (up to 5 years), company pension, company car / paid mileage and quarterly team events!
