Job Description

FINANCIAL CONTROLLERWIGAN£60,000 - £70,000 + BENEFITSIMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS AVAILABLETHE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Wigan. My client has gone through progressive YOY growth and are looking to hire a qualified Financial Controller to join a busy Finance team, leading a team of two, whilstreporting into the MD and Board.FINANCIAL CONTROLLER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage and develop the Finance team of 2.
  • Production of the monthly Management Accounts.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Account Reconciliations.
  • Budget and Cashflow forecasting.
  • Homes BOM Costings and Stock valuation & control.
  • Manage the Purchase ledger and sales ledger.
  • Manage the credit control function.
  • Manage Submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT, Pensions.
  • Identify efficiencys and process improvements.
  • Actively contribute to the Management Team on company-wide challenges and issues
  • Review, lead and report on the annual and 5-year cashflow forecast and related reports for the business
  • Review and advise on long term financial system action plan.
  • Prepare a complete set of unqualified year-end financial statements and on other accounting matters where required.
  • Lead the annual audits and liaise with the external auditors.
  • Prepare and submit Statutory Accounts
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER KEY EXPERIENCE:
  • CIMA / ACCA Qualified
  • Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in a similar level Financial Controller role.
  • At least 2 years experience as a qualified accountant in the Manufacturing industry is essential.
  • Adequate MS Excel skills
  • Syspro or a similar ERP software is desirable.
