Job Description

The Regional HR Business Partner will provide operational and strategic HR guidance across a number of sites within the Northern region. This is a home-based role, although extensive travel will be required across Yorkshire, Lancashire, North East and Scotland.The Regional HR Business Partner will develop strong relationships with the senior leadership teams and will partner with Regional Directors to develop talent, leadership and culture.Client DetailsMy client is a leading business services organisation.DescriptionKey responsibilities:

  • Coach, challenge, and develop people leaders in your area, advising on best practice as well as supporting with value-added initiatives
  • Lead on the delivery of key people and organisation projects
  • Deliver operational HR support to ensure an efficient and consistent customer service to the business
  • Develop people plans within your business areas which align to local and company-wide plans, measuring and tracking progress against desired goals
  • Influence key stakeholders in order to deliver the People plan for your region
  • Partner with leaders to promote employee engagement and drive a positive people agenda
  • Educate leaders on great employee engagement. actively supporting annual engagement processes and sharing great examples of engagement throughout the year
  • Establish and maintain consistently high standards around all People and Organisation processes
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, coaching and guiding manager capability
  • Work closely with the HR Advisor for your area to enable them to be the main point of contact for all ER issues
  • Support the HR Advisor with complex employee relations cases where needed
  • Work with other HRBPs on continuous improvement of HR services and processes within the business
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR
  • Provide key training on People matters
  • Partner on budget planning
  • Support People and Organisation projects as assigned
Profile
  • Full driving licence and access to you own vehicle
  • Home-based role but extensive travel is required
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel across the Northern region - North East, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Scotland
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent
  • Strong background in generalist HR
  • Multi-site HR experience
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies, initiatives, and practices, understanding their application in a commercial environment
  • Experience in managing change and embedding new programmes
  • Up to date knowledge of Employment Law
  • GDPR knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to influence at all management levels and challenge where necessary
  • Strong analytical, organisation, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent coaching and facilitating skills
  • Project management skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
Job Offer
  • Salary £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
