Lead Site Fitter Wallasey, CH44 7HT Full time (39 hours per week), permanent £17.20 per hour & pension contribution Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Our client specialises in supplying and installingsecondary, structural steelwork and architectural metalwork to companies and contractors around the North-West of England. Due to this continuing expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Fitter to join the existing team. Experienceof installations on large projects in the industry will be a prerequisite to the role. About the Role: As a Lead Site Fitter, you will contribute to our clients success by installing structural and architectural metalwork on large projects. Your constructionand fabrication expertise will ensure timely project completion. Key Responsibilities: Install architectural metalwork (balconies, balustrades, staircases) Work on primary & secondary steel structures Adhere to health and safety practices Maintain a positivecustomer-focused attitude Possess valid CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, and SSSTS certifications Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am till 4pm Friday 8am till 3.30pm Additional hours outside these times paid at 1½ or Double for Sundays The successful candidate must bewilling to travel (early starts / later finish times) with occasional working away from home during the week. *** All accommodation, subsistence, transport and travel costs are paid by the Company. *** The Ideal Candidate: Hardworking and ambitious Excellentconstruction and fabrication knowledge Strong team player Time management skills Effective communicator at all levels Valid UK driving license Qualifications & Skills (Essential): Full UK driving license Valid CSCS Card Good listening skills Ability to followverbal instructions Experience in architectural metalwork Experience in installing Primary & Secondary Steelwork Valid IPAF for MEWPs operator card Valid PASMA Card Valid SSSTS Certificate Benefits: Competitive hourly rate (£17.20/hour) Pension contributionWeekly paid wage Overtime opportunities 20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays Comprehensive training and development How to apply for the role: If you have the skills and experience required for this position, click apply today and check your inbox foran email providing more information on how to tailor your application and provide a cover letter or any supporting documents.
