Job Description

As Reliability Improvement Manager you willsupport the engineering departmentsmaintenance processes by coordinating planned activities via CMMS and maintenance suite including tasks, labour and resource planning.The role includes:

  • Training and development management through the apprenticeship program, skill analysis and wider team building
  • Data extraction and management to effective develop key KPI metrics.
  • Continuousdevelopment and improvement ofthe planned PPM schedule & SOPs
  • Matching activities with resource requirements through manipulation of the maintenance scheduleimprove uptime/plant performance through visible improvement plans
  • Managing the site CCMS platform including site wide administration/training linked to it
  • Identifying training needs and develop solutions and pathways to successfully utilise and maintaining through the training matrix which matches business needs.
  • Working with the engineering team to manage the department data inputs and outputs. Use results to effectively plan long term work streams. Initiate RCA to remove repetitive failures
  • Sharingengineering best practices within the department between engineering, asset care and site services. Sharing these practises with other sites and bringing to the site learnings from other sites.
  • Participatingin the Engineeringteam and wider site BI and sustainability initiatives linked to manufacturing and engineering excellence
  • Managing apprenticeship recruitment and on going development program in conjunction with engineering leadership team
  • Line management of one Stores Manager

  • HNC or equivalent engineering specific qualifications
  • IOSH managing safety qualification
  • Experience of working in an engineering role within a FMCG environment
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
  • Previous management experience is not essential as this role focuses on managing assets rather than people
