Are you at that stage in your career where you want to showcase your ability to take an initial idea/concept through to the finished articleDue to continuous expansion we are seeking a Web Developer to join a creative team within an established business who specialise in; Large Format Printing, producing innovative signage solutions for a diverse range of prestige clients across a variety of sectors. What makes this role so exciting• You will create a variety of platforms for a range of services • You will be joining a friendly and creative design team who have a wealth of experience• You will work in an informal but fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art machinery • By joining a small, growing company, you can really make your mark and be acknowledged for your hard work• This is a brand new role for the business that will allow you to transform the organisations web landscape and build an innovative series of E-commerce websites• You will be managing and optimising existing WordPress, HTML and bespoke platforms, as well as developing and designing brand new websites for a diverse array of customers and products• As the first in-house web developer and designer in the organisation, you will be part of an unprecedented digital transformation, which will allow you to develop your technical prowess and creative abilitiesIdeal candidateWhat do we need from you• An innovative and creative mindset• Proficiency with WordPress, HTML, UX, CSS, Javascript and PHP• Experience hand-coding pages, visuals and functionalities with a sound understanding of the above• Experience of web development and design across a variety of platforms - WordPress is essential, whilst Shopify and Magento are a plus• The ability to develop a brand new website that is optimised for SEO• The experience to adapt to a new brief and tailor the platform to suit• Experience of developing websites and optimising existing platforms for a variety of clients, customers or products• A genuine passion for tech and keeping up with the latest industry trendsIf the above is of interest to you then click to apply!
