Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking for an experienced Web Designer to join our clients growing team based in Wakefield.(Hybrid working)The successful candidate will be required to design and implement websites for a large B2C client. You will combine your strong CSS, HTML, UI and design skills to create pixel-perfect and highly usable, fully responsive websites and emails.As a Front-end Web Developer you will be required to help develop emerging markets including mobile rendering sites, Apps and Video display marketing and work closely with developers to implement.Main Responsibilities include:* Front End Design of the external facing websites including functionality testing* Update content and maintain a collection of WordPress sites* Design and build responsive email marketing solutions* Work closely with the sales team to keep the sites content up to date* Work with existing and new technologies to develop and maintain market share* Build specific mobile rendering websites & fully responsive email marketing campaigns* Build fully responsive Websites and HTML Emails* WordPress Backend and Frontend setups and maintenance* Use mark-up languages such as HTML, CSS and Javascript to create user-friendly websites and web applications* Use browser based live editing tools (chrome dev tools / firefox dev tools)Requirements to be considered for this role:* Web Design experience within a B2B or B2C company* A flair for design and design experience in an E-Commerce or point of sale websites* Understanding of Ecommerce* Experience of multi brand marketing campaigns within a fast moving environment* Creative approach to new campaigns* Commercial awareness in driving ROI including pricing and analysing data* Good understanding of HTML/HTML5 (hand coding essential)* Good understanding of CSS/CSS3* SEO optimisation techniques* Fluent with the Adobe Suite (predominately Photoshop & Illustrator)* Ability to react to a fluid/dynamic briefDesirable requirements:* Understanding Social Media* Use of Google Analytics* Knowledge/experience working with jQuery/javascript* Use of version control software such as VSO / GIT* Bootstrap framework* Understanding of Google AdWordsThis is an exciting time to join a busy, talented and high-performing team.
