Technical Project ManagerWakefieldThis role is OUTSIDE IR35My client is searching for an experience Technical Project Manager for a 2 year contract based in WakefieldThe Technical Project Manager will deliver a major transformational programme within a Contact Centre Environment.Key responsibilities• Deliver a major digital transformational programme throughout the full project life-cycle within a multi-site Contact Centre environment.• To actively develop, monitor and maintain robust and coherent project plans, resource plans, accurate budget management, risk registers and milestone plans in order to ensure projects are suitably managed on a day-to-day basis.• Provide professional advice to Project Boards and members of the organisation, including regular formal reporting and appropriate escalation of issues.• Work alongside technical teams to develop and implement the solution design• To develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure regular communication• To lead and motivate the technical project team• To deliver the programme to agreed time, cost and quality• Exceptional written and oral presentation skills to ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, including effective communication of complex technical information• Successful management and delivery of several concurrent and dependent projects• Work with suppliers to build effective relationships. ensuring value for moneySkills & Experience• Proven and demonstrable experience of delivering transformational projects within a multi-site Contact Centre environment.• Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualifications.• Work to agreed project management principles, including PRINCE 2 and Agile to facilitate effective project definition, analysis, design and implementation, establishing systems for embedding into live operational environments to support policing.• Ability to manage and resolve conflict creatively and identify and drive consensus ways forward.• Proven experience of managing ISDN and IP based voice technologies (e.g. Avaya) would be desirable.
