Job Description

EXCITING JOB OPPORTUNITY: General Operative in FeatherstoneAbout the Company:Join a pioneering firm based in Featherstone, making waves in the plastics industry with their advanced reusable packaging solutions. They pride themselves on:

Role: General OperativeKey Responsibilities:
  • Scanning barcodes on products.
  • Ensuring product cleanliness and maintaining quality standards.
  • Re-routing products that meet the standard back into the cycle.
  • Processing non-compliant products through the cleaning process.
  • Assisting with pallet movement in the factory site/warehouse after appropriate training.
  • Expect a fast-paced and repetitive environment.
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience with FLT or PPT is a plus, but not mandatory. We’re keen to chat regardless!
Working Hours:
  • Fixed DAYSHIFT OR Fixed NIGHT SHIFT – No Rotations.
  • NIGHTS: 3 on, 3 off - 6pm to 6am (including weekends).
  • DAYS: 3 on, 3 off - 6am to 6pm (including weekends).
  • Note: Initial training will be on 8-hour shifts, transitioning to 12-hour shifts from 1st October 2023.
Compensation:
  • NIGHT SHIFT: £11.02 - £11.62/hr
  • DAY SHIFT: £10.42 - £11.02/hr
  • Overtime available at premium rates.
  • Rates increase when taken perm (post 12 weeks)
