Job Description

DEPUTY RETURNS SUPERVISOR Our client is looking for a Returns Supervisor to join their team. Youll be working on behalf of our client and its customers. Providing a first-class service with their team in Wakefield, this role is based on a basic 36-hour week working over 5 days,including Sunday from 5.30am to 1.30pm.Relevant COVID-19 precautions will be taken during the recruitment process for this roleLooking for a shift we havent mentioned Our client is happy to offer flexibility regarding shifts and hours wherever possible.Get in touch today to discuss how they can work with you. DEPUTY RETURNS SUPERVISOR DUTIES

  • Supervise and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity
  • Liaise with our customers to ensure their expectations are met and we deliver a service to the highest standard
  • Resolve and acknowledge issues where required
  • Provide guidance to Warehouse Operatives on general day to day operational queries as they arise
  • Ensure team productivity targets are achieved
  • Provide Hand Over Report to oncoming shift
  • Provide training to all team members to ensure they are able to undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork for sickness absence is managed accordingly
  • Ensure any employee relations issues are managed and dealt with, with the support of HR
  • Ensure all team members have completed the necessary Health & Safety training
  • Carry out security spot checks on a daily basis in line with Company policy
REQUIREMENTS
  1. A minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience within a Parcels Distribution or Logistics Supervisory position
  2. A proven track record of effective people management
  3. Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks
  4. A common-sense approach to problem-solving
  5. Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
  6. Comfortable working to strict deadlines
  7. Great communication skills
  8. Computer literate with basic Microsoft knowledge
