Our client based near Wakefield are an expanding and well-respected ISO9001 approved manufacturing business who are seeking to appoint a Quality Manager to oversee their growing quality department. The successful quality manager must have prior experience with ISO9001, audit experience and experience working in manufacturing ideally with experience of fabrication.Quality Manager - Role and Responsibilities - ISO9001, Lean, Suppliers, Continuous Improvement- Day to day management of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001- Continually improve effectiveness of the Quality Management system through performance measures and metric management- Engage with maintenance, production, design and quality departments at shop floor level to improve skills and lead cultural change- Write and deliver training programmes aimed at improving manufacturing processes and improving quality throughout the Group- Project Manage capital investment projects- Work with suppliers for raw material improvements and cost reduction- The successful Quality Manager will be confident and articulate and have previous experience of leading audits. It is essential you have worked with ISO9001 in a previous quality role.Quality Manager - Experience and Skills - Technical Manager- Minimum five years experience managing ISO9001 QMS- Good understanding of lean manufacturing, six sigma and continuous improvement implementation- Experience of supplier quality development- Dynamic personality capable of leading cultural change across shop floor departments- Previous experience of writing and delivering training in one-to-one and group scenarios would be beneficialQuality Manager, Technical Manager, ISO9001, Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, ShopFloor TrainingDoes this sound like your next role If so click apply now.
