Job IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative NHS Talking Therapies service. At Wakefield Talking Therapies we specialise in evidencebased psychological therapies and weare looking for a qualifiedPsychological Wellbeing Practitionerto join the team.This role will specialise in working with 16-18 years (with some adult working also), working in colleges / 6th form schools, and helping to improve pathways for young people in Wakefield.We provide excellent opportunities for development in this role through access to training around areas of specialism such as supervision, long-term conditions, cultural diversity etc. You will work with your supervisor and line manager to make sure developmentand CPD plans are in place for your ongoing growth. There are also many opportunities for career progression into areas of leadership or further clinical training.We offer a £1,200 joining bonus.Role ResponsibilityTurning Point Talking Therapies provides evidence-based interventions within a stepped care model, for the treatment of people with mild to moderate common mental health problems.Whether you are an experienced PWP or you are newly qualified, youll join our team in Wakefield delivering step 2 low intensity interventions and as a key member of the team, you will be working closely with our clinical team to maintain our high standardand help us to develop this further. This is a great opportunity for a qualified PWP with an interest in CYP.As a PWP, youll be managing your own caseload providing evidence based treatments via one to one and group settings. We offer a high standard of in house clinical supervision and training with qualified supervisors. We offer regular masterclasses to upskillour therapists and support their career development as well as opportunities to access additional modality training.Alongside managing your own caseload PWPs also deliver a small number of psychoeducational workshops.The Ideal CandidateAs well as being a qualified PWP, you will need outstanding written and telephone communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
