Job Description

Role: Purchase Ledger ClerkLocation: Wakefield, WF2Contract Type: Full Time, PermanentSalary: £18,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30What will I be doingThis is working within the Central Finance Team in our Northern Head Office and in this role you will be responsible for scanning, registering and verification of invoices. Managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring all statements are reconciled monthly. Other responsibilities include:

  • Query resolutions and raising payments.
  • Any month-end duties as required.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required.
  • What do we need from youIdeally, you will have experience in a finance role in a high volume environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. It goes without saying that strong numeracy skills. All we need from you is:
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in the automotive or car retail industry would be ideal.
