Elevation Recruitment Group are working exclusively with an automated machinery manufacturer to recruit a Project Manager for their site in West Yorkshire.My client is a market leader in the design & build of specialist production equipment and supply many global brands.They now seek a Project Manager with a strong engineering background who can oversee design, assembly, testing and installation of special purpose machinery.The Project Managers duties will include:- Manage Projects from Sales handover to installation & commissioning- Work with Design teams to ensure specifications are accurate and achievable- Support supply chain with engineering detail, acceptance testing and order specifications- Oversee assembly and testing of machinery on site- Coordinate delivery & installation of machines to customer sites- Identify potential problems and offer effective solutions- Manage project budgets, costs, and schedules- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers & suppliers- Ensure all Health, Safety & quality standards are metElevation Recruitment Group would be keen to speak to candidates with the following skills & experience:- Qualified in an Engineering discipline- Hold recognised Project Management certification such as Prince2 or APM- Experience in a design & build environment. Automated Machinery experience would be ideal- Knowledge of Factory and Site Acceptance Testing- Effective problem-solving skills- Experience using Microsoft Project- Exceptional communication skills- Experience of managing teams of people of different disciplinesThis is a rare opportunity to join a successful business and work on exciting and challenging Engineering projects.
