Job Description

Primary TeacherCatch UpREED Education are working with schools to ensure that the Coronavirus Pandemics impact on the future generation is as minimal as possible. Aligned with the Governments catch up funding, schools are using our service to provide catch-up in a variety offorms for their students.We are therefore keen to speak with Primary Teachers that can offer support to schools, through REED Education, in roles like those below:

  • Intervention Teacherworking with small groups on Maths and English
  • Floating Teachercomfortable covering a range of classes across school so that class teachers can be released to provide catch-up
  • SATs Booster TeacherThough different this time around, people with sound experience of delivering SATs boosters are ideal for providing catch up
  • Phonics specialistthe gap in learning in this area has extended well into late KS1 and early KS2, and as a result schools need to place more emphasis on linguistic development on a targeted basis.
We are more than aware that most Teachers have solid experience of the abovehowever, these are only guidelines. We will look to speak with you directly about what you might bring to a school to aid their catch-up provision.These assignments will run on a medium-term supply basis of between 4 and 8 weeks initially, in line with funding. You will be paid on a weekly basis by REED Education. At REED we can offer you;

  • Opportunities to develop your practice through our own CPD and that of our partner schools
  • A refer a friend scheme of £100 per referral
