Axon Moore are working exclusively with a Wakefield business to recruit a part-time or full-time Assistant Accountant to support a growing area of the business for a period of 6 months. With car parking on site, and hybrid working, the team are welcomingand friendly, it is a great working culture and environment.The role will focus on both purchase ledger and sales ledger and could be of interest to someone studying AAT or an experienced purchase / sales ledger clerk.As the Assistant Accountant duties will include: Processing of supplier invoices for the division Completing regular supplier account reconciliations Processing payment runs Dealing with Ad Hoc supplier queries Raising any invoices in a timely manner. Completing regular customer account reconciliationsWith an in depth knowledge of accounts payable / purchase ledger alongside some experience in sales ledger / accounts receivable, candidates must also possess a good use of Excel and systems in general. An ability to understand large volumes of data, an analyticalmind will do very well in the role. If offered part-time the role can be offered as 4 full days or reduced hours over several days. Both full-time and part-time will include hybrid working.
