Job Description

Office AdministratorSalary circa 21-23k dep on expWakefield WF5Full timehours 8.30am4.30pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 8.00am4pmStart date January 2022Our client is a domestic and commercial roofing specialist working throughout Yorkshire and beyond.They are now looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone. You will have a can do attitude and enjoy building and nurturing long standing relationships with customersand suppliers.On a daily basis you will be responsible for running the office, which will include answering the telephones, dealing with queries and liaising with the contracts manager. You will need to be self motivated, very well organised and possess excellent communicationsskills.Key responsibilities but not limited to: -

  • Handle incoming/outgoing phone calls and e-mails from an established customer base
  • Process quotes for tenders or orders to place, chase customers for orders
  • Process orders from all stages until invoiced
  • Maintain a high level of customer service
  • General admin duties typing correspondence, answering telephones, taking messages
  • Assist on inputting data
  • Typing and following up quotations
  • Assist office manager as required
Background and Experience
  • Experience within a customer facing role
  • Build and nurture long term relationships with customers
    • Understand the motivations and needs of the customer
    • Enthusiastic, driven, creative and focused
    • Able to handle and prioritise incoming/outgoing calls and e-mails in a professional manner
    • Interpret customer needs and process orders on the computer in a fast paced environment
    • Able to initiate, manage and adapt to change
    • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop, maintain and exploit strong relationships at all levels
    • Able to challenge, question, persuade and influence at the highest levels
    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft applications
