The Multi-Skilled Engineer will operate on a panama shift pattern to maintain the plant and equipment, fix faults and breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance.Client DetailsThe client is a successful food manufacturer based in Wakefield.DescriptionThe Multi-Skilled Engineer (elec biased) will operate on a panama shift pattern and be responsible for:* Maintenance of plant and equipment* Identifying, diagnosing, and fixing faults and breakdowns* Carrying out of planned Preventative Maintenance* Facilitating and executing continuous improvement activities* Keeping the CMMS system up to date* Liaising with Engineering Manager to plan corrective actions* Prioritizing and managing workload to ensure minimum impact on production efficiency* Issuing of permits to contractors and assisting them where necessary* Completion of paperwork* Supporting all manufacturing facilities as requiredProfileThe successful Multi-Skilled Engineer (elec baised) will be/have:* Time served qualified engineering technician, with PLC experience* BTEC/C&G or equivalent in Engineering* Minimum of 3 years of troubleshooting and repair experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment* Basic Health and Safety and Basic Food Hygiene Qualifications* Experience and knowledge of delivering CI activitiesJob OfferThe Multi-Skilled Engineer will be offered a very competitive salary and be part of a progressive food manufacturing business based in Wakefield.
