Job Description

Are you a Qualified Teacher who is creative in your teaching approach Do you also have a passion for MathematicsProspero Teaching are looking for a general Maths Teacher for a new Specialist School in Wakefield.You would be teaching children and young people who may have Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autism and, Moderate Learning Difficulties.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Wakefield
  • Position - Mathematics Teacher
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) - N/A
  • Full time/part time - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £120 per day
  • Hours - 8:00am - 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH(Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
  • Maths teaching experience (Essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
