Job Description

A shift based Interim Maintenance Engineer is required for an immediate start in Wakefield. This will be 6 months work paying c£30ph and could become permanent.Client DetailsThe client is a fast paced manufacturing in Wakefield that has a number of exciting projects happening that requires additional headcount.DescriptionAs the Interim Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • working closely with the maintenance team on planned maintenance activities
  • reacting to, diagnosing and correcting faults and breakdowns
  • maintaining high levels of health & safety
  • keeping accurate records
  • machine projects
ProfileThe successful Interim Maintenance Engineer will be:
  • immediately available or on a short notice period - ESSENTIAL
  • from a manufacturing maintenance background - ESSENTIAL
  • either mechanical or electrically biased - ESSENTIAL
  • time served or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
  • a strong team player - ESSENTIAL
  • able to work 12 hour shifts (days/nights) - ESSENTIAL
Job OfferThis is an interim position to start as soon as possible and will be based at the clients Wakefield site. The position will last for a minimum of 6 months paying c£30ph and could become permanent for the right candidate.This is a shift position so you MUST be able to work 12 hour shift rotations.
