Job Description

Job Title: Helpline Sales Team Leader.Location: Office based in Wakefield.Target: Applicants with experience of managing a Sales & or Financial customer services team.Rewards: Basic salary of £25K-35K depending on experience, plus a highly competitive commission & OTE package and benefitsWorking Hours: Working on average 35 Hours per week average, over a four week period with variable working patterns each week.Working Patterns: Required to work 2 in 4 weekends on rota with weekday time off in lieu when working weekends.Timeline: Immediate Teams interviews with August/September 2022 start date.Who are The New Homes Group:The New Homes Group is part of the Skipton Building Society and has the enviable reputation of being the UKs leading new homes specialist. As part of our ongoing expansion and to help deliver national coverage we recently opened our office in Wakefield and after much successare now expanding our teams further.We are now looking for a Sales Team Leader to join our Mortgage Helpline Team. The role offers full training and would ideally suit candidates with previous experience of managing a team of Sales and or Customer service professionals in a financial setting.Helpline Sales Team Leader:New Homes Mortgage Helpline is considered as the first point of contact as part of our customers journey and experience. We are therefore looking for a strong leader who will make a real impact on the overall business sales performance, by leading a newteam of up to 12 highly trained mortgage specialists. The role will be based out of our new offices in Wakefield, working alongside our existing Mortgage Helpline. Primarily the role is to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining our five star serviceto our House builders and Customers.Required Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format.
  • Experience of Financial Services would be highly advantageous.
  • Highly competent Microsoft Office user, including Excel, Word and Outlook, and able to quickly adapt to new software packages and online processes.
  • Comfortable working weekends and variable shifts as required.
