Job Description

Michael Page Treasury are recruiting for a Group Treasury Manager to join a privately owned manufacturing organisation, to be based at their offices in Wakefield.Client DetailsResponsibilities will include Group Treasury management (including cash management and cash forecasting), arranging and maintaining financing facilities as well as foreign exchange risk management.DescriptionFurther key responsibilities of the Group Treasury Manager include:Ownership & delivery of effective cash management

  • Manage business day-to-day banking requirements ensuring daily cash and transactional needs met
  • Develop and maintain robust forecasting and reporting models
  • Analysis of short- to medium-term cash flows
  • Manage weekly cashflow forecasting process
  • Support annual budget working capital cashflow forecasting process
    • Develop the Treasury function
  • Support the Group Treasurer in delivery of the long-term strategy and vision for Treasury
  • Develop and maintain a strong, professional channel of communication with the Divisions FDs & FCs and other Functions, developing joint action plans for process improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner banks and potential new financial institutions
  • Understand, review and develop Treasury systems
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement - initiate, drive and support projects to improve processes within the Treasury function and in the wider business
    • ProfileTo be considered for the Group Treasury Manager position you require:
  • Treasury (AMCT) qualification or a qualified accountant preferably currently studying ACT
  • 4 + years experience in similar finance and/or treasury roles
  • Experience of liquidity and working capital management, financial control and driving continuous improvement
  • Risk Management, knowledge of foreign exchange and money markets
  • Strong planning and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work; experience of working in a dynamic, fast paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Job OfferThe package on offer is circa £55,000.
