Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a market leading manufacturing and distribution business based in Wakefield as they look to recruit a Front End Web Developer.This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and savvy development team and help move the business forward into emerging markets including mobile rendering sites, Apps and Video display marketing.In this varied role the successful Front End Developer will be involved in the design and development of a number of different sites covering both B2B and B2C. Combine strong CSS, HTML, UI and design skills to create pixel-perfect and highly usable, fully responsive websites and emails. You will be responsible for:*Front End Design of the external facing websites including functionality testing*Update content and maintain a collection of WordPress and Magento sites*Design and build responsive email marketing solutions*Work closely with the sales and technical team to keep the sites content up to date*Work with existing and new technologies to develop and maintain market share*Build specific mobile rendering websites & fully responsive email marketing campaigns*Build fully responsive Websites and HTML Emails*WordPress Backend and Frontend setups and maintenance*Use mark-up languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create user-friendly websites and web applications *Use browser based live editing tools (chrome dev tools / Firefox dev tools)Experience Required:*Demonstrable web design experience ideally covering B2B, B2C and E-commerce point of sale web site*A creative flair and true appreciation for the user experience*Confident in HTML/HTML5 hand coding essential*Good grasp of CSS/CSS3 *Experience in SEO optimisation techniques *Fluent with the Adobe Suite (predominately Photoshop) Required skills
