Part of a £40m+ turnover Group that also owns and runs two of the North’s most successful retail installers, we’re proud to have been awarded Manufacturer of the Year’ status at the recent Wakefield Business Awards.Following unprecedented growth, we are looking to recruit a FLT Counterbalance /Combi Lift Driver, with a full licence to support the manufacturing of a quality product to our retail network. You will be working outside in our yard where you will be responsible for the day to day movement of stock products and moving products between departments. You will be highly motivated, with a "can-do" approach, enthusiastic and committed.You will know what it takes to achieve targets, with a strong focus on Health and Safety and the motivation to get results.Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.00am - 3.30pm, we expect you to provide stock to the factory therefore flexibility of working hours is a must. We offer fantastic opportunities to progress in a forward-thinking company.Role Responsibilities·To check deliveries and move products between departments ensuring the factory have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time;·Working outside in a busy yard environment loading and unloading lorries;·To move goods packed on stillage’s, pallets or crates around the yard facility;·To stack goods in the correct location bays;·To work with various machines, including, counterbalance trucks, side loading trucks and pallet lifting equipment;·A strong focus on Health and Safety;·Good sound work experience in a similar role with strong experience of working on FLT Counterbalance and Combi Lift;·Any other duties as required.Person Attributes·You must have an in-date FLT Counterbalance and Combi lift license;·Excellent attention to detail with great organisational skills;·Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues, managers and customers;·Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure;·Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative with a can-do attitude with effective time management;·Strong Health and Safety knowledge;·A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.In return we offer competitive rates of pay, free parking, free refreshments, health cash plan and pension scheme.Please send your CV and covering letter detailing your salary expectations
