Job Description

Financial Planning AdministratorWakefield, Yorkshire£24,000 - £26,000 + Hybrid working + BenefitsMy Client are a prestigious Chartered Financial Planning firm with a great reputation in the area. They have exciting growth plans for the future and are now looking for an administrator to join and grow with the company.The firm provides advice across Pensions, Investments, IHT and general Wealth management services. The firm have built a great client bank since formation and the majority of Financial Planners within the business have achieved chartered status, they nowneed an administrator to join the client support team and provide a great service. Financial support will also be provided should you wish to become Diploma qualified and advance to a Paraplanning role.The business prides itself on support and development of its staff and this translates to good levels of retention, enabling the company to build on its position and offer a great service to clients. There will be opportunities to progress with the companyand they offer flexibility too with regards to professional qualifications.The Role

  • Liaise with product providers, collate policy information and client illustrations to support analysis for client meetings.
  • Process new applications for life, pension and investment business.
  • Obtain valuations of existing holdings and the preparation of client review packs.
  • Actioning letters of authority/appointment and obtaining plan information from product providers
  • Develop good working relationships with product providers, technology suppliers, team members, clients and Advisers.
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant files.
  • Updating back-office data and following defined business processes and workflows.
  • This role may include occasional travel between our offices in Sheffield, Leeds and Cleckheaton.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience working in an Admin role within a Financial Planning firm (ideally 1+ years).
  • Ability to build good relationships and engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise workloads to meet strict deadlines.
  • An understanding of life, pensions and investment products.
