My client is a leading manufacturing business, who are well established within their industry. With offices within the Wakefield area, this business has experienced a strong period of growth and as a result are looking to grow by adding a Finance Managerto their long standing, existing finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ideally AAT qualified/qualified by experience or is studying ACCA/CIMA and has a proven background within management accounts. The role will involve managing a team of three so previous management experience is essential. You will join a business where you will be challenged and will be able to get involved in all areas of finance. There will be an element of business partnering involvedalong with some analysis work. The main focus of the role will be to ensure the management accounts are produced to a high standard within the timescales given, however there will also be an element of supporting the transactional side and getting hands onand involved with that side of the business when required. Study support will be considered for the right candidate and there is free onsite parking available.As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and your main duties will initially include but are not limited to the following :-Key responsibilities of the role are --Preparation and support in the production and presentation of monthly management accounts including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and monthly balance sheet reconciliations-Assisting in the production and delivery of the monthly management information pack-Preparing and delivering accurate profit and loss accounts with analysis and commentaries-Business partnering with the operations team and the wider finance team and providing reports and analysis for them-Producing KPIs-Overseeing the Transactional Accounts Team and ensuring that their work is of a certain quality and that targets and deadlines are maintained-Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes-Ad-hoc project work and financial analysis as required -Providing support to the Senior Management team as and when requiredThe ideal candidate will --Be AAT qualified/ qualified by experience or will be studying CIMA/ACCA and will have previous experience of a management accounts based role-Be looking to join a growing business where no day is the same-Be interested in managing and developing people and will have previous proven experience of this-Have excellent IT skills, with strong Excel skills-Have excellent communication skills and will be able to deal with stakeholders at all levelsFor more information please contact Gemma WatmoughTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
