Fantastic opportunity - Our key client (based in Wakefield) have a requirement for a temporary Events Co-ordinator (this role is initially temporary but will go permanent to the right candidate). Salary will be based upon experience - immediate start.As an Events Co-ordinator you will be actively involved in overseeing some of the best social events in the World and across Britains top destinations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the customer receives the experience they are paying for.For this role you need to be:--Confident but have a personable nature.-Very well organised with a good eye for detail-Excellent communication skills both written and spoken-Enjoy client relationship building-Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (whilst remaining calm and professional)Main duties:--Being the first point of contact - dealing with queries/questions/problems-Ensuring customer needs are effectively communicated and delivered-Liaising with the Managing Director in order to forecast customer numbers for specific events-Arranging staff for the meet and greet of customers-Booking all event tickets ahead of trip and organising any coach transfers, as required-Booking on board entertainers such as Magicians and Musicians-Liaising with the Accounts department and handling any ad hoc purchase ledger and daily banking procedures (in their absence)-Undertake any additional duties, as required by the rolePerson spec:--Experience in a similar Events Co-ordinators role-Excellent communication skills - verbal/written-Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines-Confident as well as being very organised with a "can do" attitude-Good It skills including Excel-Immediately availableHours of work are 9.00 a.m. - 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
