Jark Bradford Ltd Commercial Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Delivery Co-Ordinator with a full clean driving license to work in Wakefield •To provide an efficient and effective delivery and collection service to users in receipt of health and/or social care equipment across the Wakefield district.•To ensure allocated work is completed within specified time deadlines.•To competently utilise appropriate IT hardware and systems as and where necessary to ensure equipment is recorded as delivered, collected, within stores or infection control.•To fully demonstrate the functionality and fitting of equipment for users to a high degree of accuracy to families and/or carers.•To make emergency equipment/collections as requested to meet the needs of the service.•To liaise directly with Support Co-ordinators to report failed delivery, failed collection or unsafe requests to ensure immediate remedial action can be taken.•To liaise directly with Support Co-ordnators to report any abnormalities on runs to ensure they are at full capacity and therefore efficient runs are achieved each day.•To ensure collected equipment is placed in quarantine on the return to store, reducing the risk to staff and users.•To undertake general warehouse and stock duties as directed by the Operational Team Leader ensuring stock areas are tidy, stock levels are adequate and equipment is bar coded.•To undertake timely and accurate picking of stock necessary to fulfil daily orders.•To complete daily vehicle, PPE and tool checklists.•To actively participate in the loading and unloaded of vehicles each day correctly, to HSE and vehicle manufactures guidelines.•To ensure vehicles are decontaminated each week inside and outside to prevent cross contamination.•To supervise staff deployed from other areas to the Logisitics Team when they are supporting deliveries and collections.•Ability to handle heavy (25kg+) equipmentThe employment checks are required:•Two satisfactory references covering 5 years •DBS checkHours of work: You will be required to work a shift pattern during the core hours of 8am-8pm including weekend work.Pay Rate: £11.19 per hourThis position is being advertised on behalf of Jark Bradford Ltd Commercial Division who operate as an employment business.Should you have the correct experience please click apply to our JARK BRADFORD TEAM or email an up-to-date CV to or call me Lisa Smith Keywordsdriver
