Job Description

Fire Door Installers / CarpentersPermanent and temporary Vacancies£30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience) + Company Van + BenefitsWakefield areaOur client is a leading contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects these include student accomodation within the private and public sector. Due to continued expansion, currently seeking Fire Door Installers and Fire Stoppers across the Wakefield area.Also looking for candidates who can train and develop other Staff into experienced FRA Installers. You can expect the higher end of the salary bracket for this.Duties:

  • Complete Fire Stopping/Fire Door Installations
  • Appropriate use of all materials, tools, and resources
  • Ensure quality and standards of work are high
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
  • Undertaking any training necessary for the role
  • Ensure all work is evidenced through company App
    • The successful candidate must:
  • NVQ in fire stopping/carpentry
  • Hold a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • Be Asbestos-aware, and preferably first aid
  • Hold the full UK driving license and access to a van large enough to take doors
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Provide a DBS (CRB) check
  • FIRAS (Preferred)
