Theyre looking appoint their next asssitant finance business partner.This is an amazing opportunitiy for a currently studying up and coming finance individual!Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, the Assistant Finance Business Partner will be responsible for all aspects of finance and operations.With support and guidance, you will assist in driving financial performance whilst ensuring adherence to financial governance and control processes. This is a very rounded opportunity, which will provide exposure to, and experience of the full range of Finance Business Partnering activities, particularly from a Commercial perspective.Key Responsibilities:Work with the Finance Business Partner to deliver month-end results and reporting:-Month end client P&L reconciliations, analysis, and identifying requirements for financial adjustments-Assist with reporting on financial performance and business KPIs-Highlighting opportunities to improve business performance-Identifying trends and business reasons supporting under/over performance-Challenge the business to bill in a timely manner, and to keep aged debt to a minimum-Challenge and support the business to drive data accuracy and forecast accuracy:-Work collaboratively with the account teams to ensure PO life cycle is in line with finance processes and understood by the wider business community-Ensure that external client reporting is reflecting the correct, accurate contract position-Support the account teams in providing accurate, regular forecastsSupport the effectiveness of the Finance function:-Initiate and assist with projects and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the function-Work collaboratively with colleagues fulfilling different roles within the wider function; including transactional finance and Group-Provide ad-hoc analysis, guidance and support across any and all matters related to financial performance and processes:-Support the Finance Business Partner with commercial modelling-Assist with new business implementationSkills & Experience-Started working towards becoming a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)-Previous experience in a finance role-Strong command of Excel and experience with relevant financial systems, including ERP and reporting platforms-Personal Attributes-Excellent communication skills; able to clearly and concisely articulate relevant information to the business Good understanding of general accounting processes-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across functions and geographies-Ability to influence and challenge where necessary-Desire to develop commercial acumen-Organised and proactive; able to work independently and as part of a team-Highly numerate with an eye for detailSounds of interest Get in touch for more details about this amazing opportunity!Contact
