Job Description

Account ManagerSalary circa £22-25k pa dependent on experienceWakefield Centre – office based – flexibility considered upon completion of probationary periodFull timeOur client specialises in Website Design and Digital Marketing. They are Innovators of dynamic technology improvingthe user experience and optimising conversion through product visualisation.Founded 2 years ago our client has witnessed intense growth, thanks to its strong set of core values, approach, transparency, effectiveness, trust, ethics and a positive work/life balance.They have a strong desire to hire an experienced Account Manager who is able to hit the ground running, with a positive, can-do attitude, and a desire to contribute and grow with them, fitting into the friendly and warm, yet excellence-driven culture ofthe business.Role & Responsibilities but not limited to:-

  • support, nurture & grow our current retainer client relationships through regular & scheduled contact
  • Overall responsibility for client satisfaction and account performance
  • Manage client communication on a day-to-day basis and monthly reporting
  • Build long term relationships with key clients and stakeholders to grow accounts and expand campaigns
  • oversee, manage & update current technical requests for retainer clients
  • Strategise with the internal marketing team to develop your clients business growth
  • Generate ad-hoc upsell from current retainer clients through conversion of opportunities
  • Support Non-retainer clients with occasional ad-hoc requests
  • Liaise with the internal team to align your clients objectives with marketing activities
  • Encourage customer reviews and referrals from existing retainer & non-retainer clients
The ideal person will be:
  • Professionally qualified to a degree or equivalent level, with at least, 2+ years’ experience- ESSENTIAL
  • You need to be curious, driven and eager to keep upskilling
  • you will be responsible for owning the client relationship and ensuring that our client remains a critical partner
  • must have experience nurturing relationships and identifying growth opportunities as well as rolling up your sleeves in the day-to-day support
  • previous digital agency experience preferred but not essential
