Job Description

The TeamThe Sales team is part of the wider first charge mortgage team which includes Sales, Lending Operations, Proposition and Delivery and Business Systems. The sales team consists of field and office-based staff, covering all regions of the UK to promote Pepper Money products to accredited brokers and distributors. We currently operate in Residential and Buy To Let mortgages.What you will be doing You’ll be reporting into the Telephony Sales Manager alongside a team of Telephone Business Development Managers with the flexibility to either be office based or work remotely. As part of the Pepper Money sales team, you will be responsible for making outbound sales calls in order to promote our full proposition to intermediaries. The role is inclusive of but not limited to:

  • Make outbound calls for the purpose of generating business, educating brokers about our products, lending policies, systems and packaging requirements.
  • Use campaigns to target certain segments of the market as required by the business.
  • Be responsible for your own call/conversations targets and setting up your day accordingly to achieve both activity and other commercial targets
  • Strive for and evidence continuous improvement by embracing coaching and QA time with line manager.
  • Evidence expert knowledge of all Pepper Money Products, Policies, Systems and Processes and display this expertise in outbound sales calls but also in other ways which include but not limited to webinars, virtual presentations to larger groups of brokers.
