How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*OFG are taking part in the 4-day working week trial!Job Title: TeacherLocation: Hillingdon Manor School, UxbridgeSalary: £30,000 to £42,000 per annumHours: 38.5 hours per week; Monday to FridayContract: Permanent, Term Time onlyAs part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for aTeacher to join our close-knit team at Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge.If you are looking to join a dedicated team in a school that will welcome your ideas and forward-thinking to create a positive learning environment for young people, we would like to hear from you.About the roleWe require an experienced and qualified teacher who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school.You will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop.The pupils may display some challenging behaviour dueto their different needs, so staff are required to have experience.Within this role, you will teach pupils in a fun and engaging way. You will also work with the support staff within the classroom to ensure that each pupil is getting the support they require, but also to ensure the smooth running of sessions and allow eachpupil to have a positive learning environment. You will provide feedback to SLT, parents and carers.For this role, you should:

  • Have previous experience teaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils with complex additional needs.
  • Have experience teachingand be able toplan fun and engaging sessions.
  • Have a UK QTS or QTLS.
About usAt Hillingdon Manor, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, aged between 3.5 and 19. Located across two sites. Our Secondary Schoolsupports around 125 pupils.
