Job Description

Your role will involve co-ordinating business-oriented projects, productionof overarching reporting, and construction of project plans for both internal and external use.As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • acting as Project Manager for business-oriented projects, coordinating resources across the business as appropriate
  • building required project plans for internal and external use in line with Pepper templates and procedures
  • tracking progress on assigned projects and reporting out to sponsor / stakeholders as appropriate
  • creating and maintaining meeting discussion and action points
  • providing support to project SMEs as appropriate
  • maintenance of policies and procedures as required in order to meet the requirements of legislation, obtaining relevant approvals, implement and rollout under direction from the Director of Change
  • proactively and effectively managing the risks allocated to assigned projects
  • monitoring project risks and maintain controls within agreed tolerance levels
  • supporting senior management in business development activities with potential clients, as required
  • interacting with other managers to provide project management expertise to deliver change

Essential Skills
  • Experience in consistent delivery of outstanding change and project management outcomes within a financial services context
  • Robust understanding of relevant regulation and associated legislative policy and the impacts this has on the role, particularly relating to loan and mortgage products
  • Evidential leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written English skills
  • Ability to act as a subject matter expert, supporting client acquisition and retention activities
  • Able to contribute positively through clear and effective communication and ability to hit deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organisational skills
