Job Purpose and Summary Canon EMEA is looking for a Product Marketing Manager (internally known as Product MarketingSpecialist) to be the product, market and business expert for our range of office printers and solutions. Your focus will be to understand and promote how our technologyadds value to customers and partners alike, by creating compelling and engaging content to support the full product lifecycle.You will work closely with key stakeholders within the Canon B2B headquarter organisation, as part of the Workspace Marketing & Innovation team, acting as a key liaison with the Sales and Marketing functions of National Sales Organisations across the territoryto bring value propositions to market and execute sales and marketing plans, including product launch activities.What we giveWith Canon, youll get the support and encouragement you need to grow, from people who share your ambition. Lastly, youll find that Canon encourages continuous Learning and Development with a wide range of resources and support available on demand.What we askAs Product Marketing Specialist you will:-Own the selected product portfolio and be an evangelist by clearly understanding and promoting how our technology adds value to customers and partners alike; drive product awareness and education into the sales channels through the National/Regional SalesOffices by creating engaging and compelling content about the benefits of our technology; manage and update marketing and sales tools such as Web portals, webinars, video, podcasts and white papers to ensure maximum impact of content; work with Sales and Marketingfunctions as a subject matter expert to execute relevant applications and vertical specific initiatives; create and fulfil marketing plans based on business unit objectives. - Facilitate the full officeprinting portfolio lifecycle marketing with a focus on new product introductions and revenue supporting/boosting activities across the portfolio. -Gather and apply market insights; the voice of the market, sales channels and customers to feed into future technology development -Lead new product launches and ensure go to market readiness addressing the whole value chain from direct and indirect sales through to customers, working in alignment with the wider product management and commercial team; orchestrate the creation of new collateralsand assets linked to a B2B buying cycle. -Be responsible for monitoring and analyzing competitors activities; messaging, technology, portfolio, pricing etc.You will needAsProduct Marketing Specialist you will have:- Previous experience as Product Marketing Manager /Specialistis essential- A background in technology marketing with whole lifecycle product marketing experience, preferably in the B2B space.- Understanding of holistic go-to-market strategies, and the varying needs of different channels- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and present in a compelling manner- A passion for technology; to know how products, software and services come together to create and add value for our customers-Good understanding of sales channels and the commercial models employed, preferably B2B- Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, well organized, able to plan effectively- Able to negotiate with and influence stakeholders- Can gather and apply market insights, form and apply strategic thinkingKey competencies for the role are:Focus on the customerApply High Standards of AccuracyPlan & Organise effectivelyCommunicate effectivelyTake ownership and accountabilityTeam playerFurther InformationSalary: starting from £41,000,depending on experienceDo you match with this role Do not hesitate and apply!
